Last updated: 2026-10-30
This Cookie Policy explains how Mindwise App Pte. Ltd. ("mindwise", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on mindwise.so. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, scripts, and local storage that help a site function or measure usage. In this policy, "cookies" covers those technologies as well.
2. How we obtain consent
Where required by law (including the EU/UK GDPR and ePrivacy rules), we do not load non-essential analytics or marketing technologies until you give consent through our cookie banner. You can accept all, reject all, or choose categories. Your choice is stored for up to 12 months. Clearing cookies or waiting for that period to expire will prompt us to ask again.
The personal-plan quiz is an exception to that banner. We load PostHog on /quiz/personal-plan for everyone who starts the quiz, so we can measure which steps people see and where they leave. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel still wait for consent, including on that quiz.
You can change your mind at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.
3. Cookie categories
Necessary
These are required for basic site features related to your cookie preferences. They do not require consent.
- mw_cookie_consent — stores your analytics and marketing consent choices (first-party; retained up to 12 months).
Analytics
Google Analytics runs only if you accept Analytics, and helps us understand how visitors use the rest of the site. The personal-plan quiz also uses PostHog, described below, without the cookie banner.
- Google Analytics 4 (gtag / GA4) — provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. May set cookies such as
_gaand_ga_*to measure page views and events. Typical retention is up to 2 years, subject to Google's configuration. Loaded only after you accept Analytics. - PostHog — provided by PostHog, Inc. Loaded on the personal-plan quiz only, for everyone who starts it. The cookie banner is not shown on that quiz. PostHog may set a first-party cookie and use local storage so the same visitor stays connected through the quiz, including when they leave to sign in with Google or Apple and return. After they create an account, we link that quiz session to their account id. We do not send their email address to PostHog from this quiz. Session recording is off.
Marketing
Used only if you accept Marketing. Helps measure advertising performance and reach.
- Meta Pixel — provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms, Inc. Loads scripts and may set cookies (for example
_fbp) to attribute visits and conversion events. Retention varies by Meta's product settings.
4. What we do not do without consent
Until you accept the relevant category, we do not load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel, and our site analytics event helpers will not send data to those providers. PostHog on the personal-plan quiz is the exception described above.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect site features that rely on remembering your preferences.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when our tools or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes to how we use cookies may require fresh consent.
